Water vs soda

by Pat
(Texas)

How does water benefit over soda?

Thank you for asking! This is a very good question and one that many people have asked me who are interested in health improvement. Perhaps you've heard that our bodies are about 70% water - which is true - but it doesn't just sit there! Water is second in importance to health after oxygen because virtually all the functions of the body depend upon water.

To answer your question, water has a certain chemical make-up, which naturally works within the body in doing many things. Water has a neutral pH of 7.0, which is essential for the human body in terms of optimum health.

On the other hand, soda also has a certain chemical make-up and even though it is a fluid, it doesn't have the same properties as water and so cannot take the place of how water works in the body. In fact, soda creates an acidic pH in the body which is detrimental to health. Too much acidity in the body fluids can lead to a host of health problems.

Thanks again for asking your question!

Sincerely,
BB
