Effective Natural Detox
Remedy
When considering
a natural detox remedy, the best results are obtained when
the body's normal cleansing and detoxification functions
are understood and supported. While a one time cleanse
or detox can certainly improve health, incorporating
a natural
detox remedy into regular use because the body is constantly
building up toxic waste and cleaning and detoxifying happens
on a continual basis!
Normally, the body performs its normal detoxifying functions
without difficulty. But in our world today, the amount
of toxic factors in our environment and lifestyles has
risen to a level that our bodies cannot handle effectively.
What we eat and drink, the products we use to
clean our homes and our bodies, stress and environmental
pollutants all add up to an overwhelming toxic effect on the body
which the normal detoxification functions cannot completely
handle.
When toxins build up in the body and can't be eliminated,
they cause illnesses, weight gain (or at least difficulty
losing weight) and fatigue to say the least!
The body cleans and detoxifies itself by:
- The elimination of toxins when you exhale air from your
lungs;
- As part of the digestive process,
the wall of the small intestine filters toxins from
nutrients that are being
absorbed with an army of "friendly" bacteria
that nuke toxins before they can be absorbed into the
bloodstream;
- The liver, which has numerous cleansing and purifying
functions, cleanses the blood of drugs and other poisonous
substances;
- The elimination of wastes through the large intestine;
- The kidneys filter toxins and impurities from the blood
and eliminate them through urine;
- The skin's sweat glands and sweat have a major role
in eliminating toxic substances from the body;
- The lymphatic system assists the detoxification of the
body of viruses and other disease-causing substances.
- It is also called the immune system because it carries
virus nuking white blood cells throughout the body
So what kind of natural detox remedy will help the body
do it's job better? The number one remedy is drinking
sufficient water. Every thing that the body does, from
breathing to digestion and all the processes of metabolism
and detoxification need water to work properly.
The key health
benefit of water is that it supports
and empowers the body's natural ability to detoxify itself. Even if and when you do specialized cleanses, the instructions
always tell you to drink plenty of water. A general guideline
for how much water the body requires is one-half your
body weight in ounces. That would mean that a 150 pound
person would shoot for drinking 75 ounces of water daily.
The next most effective natural
detox remedy is consuming
less unhealthy,
toxic food and consuming more vegetables
and fruit. The best way I've found to accomplish this
is
through
juicing. Vegetables and fruits contain nutrients
and enzymes that the body requires in order to function in
a healthy way, including doing all its cleansing and
detoxification functions.

lifestyle, will give your body
the help it needs in today's world!
