Is it healthy to eat standing up?

Hi Kenny,

As far as any physical difference between standing up or sitting down while eating, there is no physical difference. Standing up while eating is not more or less healthy than sitting down.

The issue about eating while standing up being unhealthy revolves around how people might eat more and/or faster while standing up, which might sabotage weight loss efforts.

Eating nutritious food and chewing it well is what the body needs! If sitting down helps someone do that better, then that is a good habit. But you could do that too while standing up, you just need to put some attention on it.
