À Santé: A
practical health
and wellness newsletter

À Santé!
|
Several years ago, I would have killed
for a health and wellness newsletter that focused
on the basic things I needed to improve my health and information
about how to apply it.
I found so much information that only
told me that "such-and-such supplement" was the next best
thing
since sliced bread or
that I should "do 30 minutes of exercise 4 times a week
for health and weight control."
Even more irritating to me was the fact that most
of this information was written using medical and health
terms
that were undefined, and I spent more time looking things
up than getting any helpful understanding from them!
For example, one of my earliest research projects was
looking into pH. I kept reading about pH being related
to health, but I had no clue what it was, much less any
pH definition. So the information wasn't useful to me until
I learned what it was and how I could apply it to improve
my own health!
None of this information talked
about how to apply it or even evaluated the information
to help me figure out
how important it was…
Thus, this health and wellness newsletter was born from
the need for the simple basics related to improving health
in plain, understandable English.
Any information is valuable to the degree that
you can use it. I didn't want to waste anyone's time spewing
out irrelevant data that's been written about over and
over or boring statistics that aren't practical and useful.
So, one of the features of this
health and wellness newsletter is that it's written in
plain English,
like we're having a conversation about
health basics and what it takes to apply them to enjoy
results of our health improvement activities.
For example, in a recent issue
we discussed the subject of motivation – what
it takes to get motivated and stay motivated. When
you subscribe
to this newsletter,
you'll get access to all the back-issues.
How would that benefit you? Having
practical information based upon real-life experience?
None of the information
in this health and wellness newsletter is theoretical or
dogmatic (preachy… don't you hate that?)
Another thing that I observed about
other sources of health improvement information was
that they
usually combined a bunch of different pieces of information
that made the subject confusing and overwhelming.
Another key feature of this newsletter
is that each issue has just one main article that focuses
on one basic aspect
of health improvement.
Understanding
what it takes to improve health boils down
to simple basics
and simple practices – and should get
easier and more enjoyable as you progress. |
That brings us to the name of this
newsletter: À Santé! – which
means "To
Health!" in French. It's a common French toast (pun
sort of intended).
The tone of this newsletter is light,
positive and has practical information that you can actually
put to use and enjoy living life with a healthier body
that you are more in control over!
Simply fill out your first name
and e-mail address below and you're on your way to having
a truly useful, down-to-earth resource for your health.
As a bonus with your subscription
to this special health and wellness newsletter, you'll
be able to download a
special
checklist, "Instant
Relaxation Exercises" that you can utilize
to quickly improve your physical and emotional well-being.
