Welcome to the Improving Health and Energy web site. I'm B. B. Martin, your hostess and editor for the general health discussion topics you'll find here.

There are many things that we can do to improve our health, and other things that we do that get in the way of improving our health and energy levels. We'll be looking at some key issues and discussing how they relate to achieving better health.

To kick things off, it's essential to first know that the most fundamental things that affect our health are:

Understanding how these basic factors affect your health and well-being will help you to take control of your own health and empower you to make informed health decisions.

These things are so basic to your health that they each have their own section of articles on this site.

Any general health discussion needs to start with a good understanding that these four factors are the fundamentals of health. They are the things you address first, the starting point towards improving your health.

Once we understand what the basics of good health are, we can have a general health discussion about various other things that are related to health. We'll talk about

Are you wondering what body cleansing and detoxification are all about? It's actually vital to improve health, so let's take a look at what it is and why our bodies need a bit of help in this area!

In addition, since antioxidants are big news these days, and actually help the body in detoxifying itself of harmful substances, let's get a good antioxidant definition.

And have you heard about skin brushing? This simple activity is what I love to call "health on a stick!"

Taking charge of our own health and becoming more knowledgeable about what we need to do to improve our health, fitness and well-being is now an important goal for many of us.

In the past, we have not been very well educated or informed about the basics of health and what to do for vibrant health and first need useful information that we can actually apply to ourselves.

We've given the responsibility for our personal health and well-being to "authorities" who may or may not truly be able to help us. Now we're digging for valuable health information so we can take charge of attaining better health and enjoy our lives! That is the purpose of the articles on this site - to provide useful information that can be used to improve health and energy.

I have been traveling this road of learning how to improve my health for some time now. I got sick and tired of feeling like crap and I wasn't enjoying my life! Fortunately, I enjoy looking for useful information and sharing it with others who are looking for effective solutions too.

So get comfy, order your favorite beverage, and let's have a general health discussion!
