starting the day with a clear head and energy

feeling strong and fluid with my body and muscles

eating well and having energy to explore with aerobic movement around my neighborhood

I am now thinking of each new action as a positive step and each step is valued no matter how small

and I am enjoying feeling good about myself for these steps forward

focusing on the new and positive

and not returning to the old pattern of feeling impatient and discouraged about myself

Boy, that's one of the biggest barriers I've learned to overcome in setting my health goals too, "returning to the old pattern of feeling impatient and discouraged about myself."

Now I allow myself a very short time to feel lousy, but then I remind myself that it's just part of the journey to the goal, and to get productive again.

Breaking things down into small, doable steps and then taking one, no matter how small, really goes a long way towards turning that yukky mindset around and getting motivated again!

I'm so happy to hear that you are winning! There will be "down" days, that is to be expected - get yourself going again by doing the same thing, focus on the next step and take it :)
