How does physical activity differ from exercise?

Great question, and it's something that I've found many people wonder about.

Physical activity is any movement of the body, from walking outside to get the mail to running a marathon. It refers to any and all movement, at all levels.

Exercise is also physical activity, but with the focus and purpose of improving some specific aspect of health. There are 4 categories, or types of specific exercise that each help the body work better in some specific way.
