I am very encouraged after reading this article that I can achieve my health related goals this year. I agree with the 3 aspects of goal setting listed above.

I know from past experience that overcoming the "inertia" of practicing bad habits is a very hard thing to do sometimes. Habits good or bad become ingrained into our lives and just to say that we want to change is sometimes not enough to carry us though to a real result. At least, that is the way it's been for me.

After reading the article above I would very much agree that you should do what is "real" for you. I think that in my case just getting out for a little walk each day would make a world of difference in bettering my overall health. It might not look like much, but for me, it would be a lot and would help to instill good habits instead the bad habits I have of coming home, eating a big meal, then sitting on the couch and not moving the rest of the evening until I go to bed.

I guess what I'm trying to say is that I've had great success in my life lately with making small and doable changes - I'm then able hold "firm" and make other small charges that lead to big results for me.

I think that by using the 3 factors for success that are listed above and believing that better health can be achieved by doing one small change at a time I can make big changes in my health for the good this year!

Thank you for sharing your thoughts about your health goals. I have had success in moving forward towards my goals by looking at what is realistic for me to do TODAY to start progressing and having successes in my journey towards improving my health.
