The purpose of the"Ask health questions" section of this site is to provide you with a place where you can ask questions about general and basic health subjects.

Health care is a team effort. I see my doctors as my team mates, giving me guidance in achieving my specific health goals.

When I have questions about general health, I feel that it's up to me to find out for myself. I don't think it's my doctor's job to teach me how the body works or what it needs to be healthy overall.

The more we understand about our bodies and health, the easier it is to stay well and make healthy decisions in life.

There's plenty to know and understand about what our bodies need to improve, maintain and enjoy good health. This site and section where you can ask health questions can go a long way in helping you understand health basics so you can make healthier decisions and enjoy a better quality of life.
