Always Feeling Healthy by "Going Green"

My ideal healthy lifestyle is to go green. The many aspects of going green all lead to increased health. Here are a few that affect me, for the better.

I walk as often as possible, as opposed to driving. I would rather pick fresh food from my garden or my trees than go to McDonald's. I would rather put my waste into a compost bin, and use it to put added nutrients into the food I grow, than send it to a landfill. I prefer to purchase food items from local markets selling products that are grown locally and organically.

I breath cleaner air because I no longer use toxic chemicals to kill my weeds and clean my sinks, I choose eco-friendly products. I respect the sun, I use it to create electricity, not to burn my skin.

I am seldom in need of medication or cures for anything, but when I am I look to alternative, holistic medicines before pharmaceuticals. I prefer yoga to a chiropractor and a cup of green tea over a scotch and water.

These are just a few of my preferences in life that keep me happy and healthy.
